Suity Liongosari

Suity Liongosari started her career as an interior designer in Los Angeles, she continues to serve clients throughout California and beyond from her office on the Monterey Peninsula. Suity provides complete design services on projects ranging from simple one-room remodels to complex new-home constructions. On all her projects, Suity creates the design concept and then works closely with architects, contractors, sub-contractors and other specialists. In her client-centered approach, she seeks to reflect their wishes while providing expert guidance and counsel from project initiation to completion.

“An excellent design is one that reflects the tastes and personality of the homeowners in a pleasing whole characterized by layouts, colors and accessories that not only provide aesthetically pleasing spaces, but also exude a sense of comfort and well-being,” Suity says. “A house shouldn’t be a showcase only; it should also be a practical living space. I like my clients to feel comfortable in the homes that we work on together.”

Suity graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Woodbury University in 1982 and then joined Kreiss Design in Los Angeles. During her time there, she completed multiple ambitious projects for high-profile clients in Los Angeles, New York, Palm Beach and other major cities, before opening her own design company, Liongosari Design, in 1988. Suity specializes in residential design but occasionally works in the commercial and outdoor design arenas as well. She is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
